Approval ratings of last five Mexican presidents throughout their term 1994-2023

Of the last five presidents of Mexico, Andrés Manual López Obrador (commonly known as AMLO) was the one who started his presidential term with the highest approval rating, at 76 percent. By the end of his fourth year as president AMLO's approval rate had fallen to 64 percent. Despite starting with a relatively good opinion among Mexicans, Enrique Peña Nieto soon became the least popular president of the North American country, finishing the presidential term with an approval rate of 23 percent.
