In April 2 to 8, 2012, the percentage of positve media coverage for Mitt Romney was 35 percent.
The analysis includes an analysis of more than 11,000 news websites around the United States and the full public feed of tweets on Twitter. In the data, tone of coverage is measured not by story but by the statements about a candidate and tracks how many are positive, negative or neutral in tone across stories. Neutral media coverage is not shown.
