Importance of data secrurity or convenience in health data for U.S. consumers 2014

This survey illustrates the preferences between data security or convenience among U.S. consumers for health care data, as of 2014. Some 71 percent preferred data security over convenience for their medical tests and imaging results. The healthcare industry is producing services and products that are available directly to the consumers such as wearable devices and mobile apps that meet patient demand for a more direct access to their own healthcare needs.
