This statistic illustrates the findings of a survey on the duration of current relationship or being single in the United Kingdom (UK) in June 2017, by status and contentment. During the survey period, it was found that 81 percent of respondents who were married and either very or somewhat unhappy reported, that they had been for over ten years in their current relationship. Of responding individuals who were single and happy with their current relationship status, ten percent reported that they had been single between five and ten years.
