This statistic shows the distribution of trip purposes in Denmark as of 2018, measured by travelled kilometers. During the time under consideration, leisure time represented 41 percent of the total amount of kilometers and was thus the largest trip purpose category. Commuting represented 32 percent, and was the second largest trip purpose measured by number of kilometers travelled.
