In 2020, most of Mexico's leading airports for domestic freight transportation recorded declines in the volume of cargo handled. In contrast, the airport in Querétaro increased its volume of air freight transported in domestic routes by more than eight percent. The Toluca airport, however, recorded a surge of more than 80 percent that same year.
