This statistic illustrates the types of tenants that landlords and agents were most unwilling to rent to in England in 2018. Approximately 61 percent of landlords responded that they were most unwilling to let to single occupants aged between 18 and 21 years old receiving universal credit. Agents on the other hand responded most strongly that they were willing to let all tenant types rent a property from them with 44 percent.
