Diabetes health cost per person in China 2011-2045
In 2021, China spent about 165 billion U.S. dollars on diabetes - approximately 1,173.5 U.S. dollars per person. Diabetes is one of the leading death causes across the globe. That year, there were about 1.4 million deaths due to diabetes in China, about one-third of which occurred in people aged below 60 years.
