Use of SVOD in Belgium 2016-2019, by gender
In the period between 2016 and 2019, women in Belgium were increasingly using commercial streaming services like Netflix to watch video content on demand, according to a survey that looked into online activities from individuals in the country. In 2016, 11 percent percent of Belgian women used an SVOD service. Two years later, both men and women showed an increased interest although it was slightly higher for men than it was for women. In 2019, however, this gender gap had nearly disappeared.
