Opinion on clothing materials that are most environmentally damaging in France 2019
Clothing materials can be divided into two distinct categories: natural fiber fabrics (cotton, linen, wool...) and synthetic fiber fabrics (polyester, nylon, polyamide...). In 2019, 51.4 percent of French consumers considered polyester as an environmentally unfriendly fabric. Furthermore, more than one fourth of the respondents also categorized leather as one of the most damaging materials for the environment.
