Nearly two thirds of female respondents in Russia had a rather positive attitude towards images of women in advertisements depicting traditional roles, women older than 55 years, and model-like women, according to a survey conducted in 2021. In contrast, ads suggesting a double meaning using images of women were perceived negatively by nearly 70 percent of respondents.
