Distribution of public revenue in Tunisia 2021, by source
Taxes are the main sources of revenue for the central government of Tunisia. In 2021, these accounted for around 58 percent of the total public revenue, with a total value of nearly 30 billion Tunisian dinars (11 billion U.S. dollars). Loans made up approximately 36 percent of the government receipts as of the same year, while non-tax revenue represented only 6.5 percent of the total.
