During a 2019 survey in multiple European countries, it was found that 32.5 percent of respondents from Belgium agreed that they are willing to eat more vegetables and more plant-based food products. Only respondents from the Netherlands were less likely to agree with the statement, while the share of Italians that were in agreement was around 54.5 percent.
