Most voted party in 2022 presidential elections in Colombia, by region
The left-wing coalition Pacto Histórico was the most voted option in 17 electoral districts and obtained its best result in the department of Chocó, where 81.94 percent of voters opted for Gustavo Petro as the next president and Francia Márquez as vice-president. Nevertheless, the coalition obtained its largest number of votes in Bogotá, where about 2.25 million voters (58.59 percent of the total in the district) opted for their former mayor, Petro. On the other hand, Liga de Gobernantes Anticorrupción won in another 17 electoral districts and was particularly popular in Santander, whose capital, Bucaramanga, was led by Hernández from 2016 to 2019.
