Demand growth for COVID-19 related supplies in Cameroon 2022, by generation
A survey conducted in urban Cameroon in 2021 and 2022 found that older generations were sticking to their COVID-19-prompted purchases, while the younger generations were going back to pre-pandemic habits. COVID-19 supplies, including hand sanitizers and soaps, grew by some 17 percent among baby boomers compared to six percent among Generation Z. Furthermore, millennials had the lowest growth in demand for COVID-19-related supplies at three percent.
