Per a consumer sentiment survey also measuring media consumption habits, 24 percent of Indian consumers preferred spending one to two hours watching television, whereas 18 percent consumed video streaming content for the same duration in December 2023. As the durations grew longer, the share of consumers grew smaller, with television accounting for 65 minutes and video streaming for 61 minutes of daily average consumption.
