Share of motorbike users wearing a safety helmet in Italy 2015, by macro-region
in 2015, the usage of safety helmets was widespread in Northern Italy and in the Center. In fact, nearly the totality of motorbike users adopted this safety measure. By contrast, the share of motorbike users wearing helmets dropped to less than 94 percent in the South and Islands.
