Manufacturing companies making sustainable investments in Italy 2022, by sector
In Italy's manufacturing sector, the companies that were the most involved in boosting sustainable processes between 2018 to 2021, and/or were planning to do so in 2022, were the chemical, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical sector companies. Companies producing rubber and plastic products followed in second place at that time. On average, roughly 41 percent of the manufacturing companies in Italy invested in green technologies in the period under consideration.
