Opinion on social media ban due to terrorist attacks to stop fake news in Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted by Ipsos in June 2019, more than half of Japanese respondents would support a temporary social media ban to stop the flow of fake news in the event of a terrorist attack, with around nine percent strongly agreeing to the measure.
