Restaurant foodservice sales South Korea 2014-2023, by type
In 2018, the sales of independent restaurant foodservices in South Korea amounted to around 40.4 billion U.S. dollars. This subsector also includes coffee and tea shops, as well as ice cream parlors. A survey in April 2019 found that more than 36 percent of respondents stated that they were eating out once every two to three days.
