Domestic to international ratio of Airbnb guests in Japan 2019-2020

According to data from Airbtics.com, the number of international travelers staying in Airbnb in Japan reached a 13-month low of 52.7 percent of total travel volume in May 2020, compared to 88.5 percent in May 2019. The number of inbound travelers to Japan started to drop significantly in April 2020, as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak restricted outbound and inbound travel in the country.
