Eden Rock - St Barths in French overseas territory of Saint-Barthélemy ranked first in the list of best rated hotels and resorts Caribbean in 2023, according to participants of a travel survey, scoring 98.22 points. The ranking was built based on an online survey where users could rate the resorts listed based on a set of criteria relevant to their category. That same year, the best-rated resort in Mexico was also located on the Caribbean coast.
