Recreational boats registered in French maritime waters 2020, by region
It is in Brittany where the most pleasure boats were registered in maritime waters as of August 31, 2020. This French region registered more than 250,000 vessels in its ports. Overall, the regions of the Atlantic coast with Aquitaine, Poitou-Charente and Pays-de-la-Loire registered the most pleasure crafts on their territory, with the exception of the Mediterranean region of Provence-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur which also registered nearly 250,000 vessels.
