Most trusted politicians in Kyrgyzstan 2020
Sadyr Japarov was the most trusted politician in Kyrgyzstan in December 2020, named by nearly one half of survey participants. In January 2021, he was elected as the president of the country, following the resignation of Sooronbay Jeenbekov in the wake of protests in October 2020. The second-largest share of respondents trusted Kamchybek Tashiev who chaired the State Committee for National Security.
