Share of renewables in electricity mix in Central America 2021, by country
In 2021, all the electricity produced in Costa Rica was derived from renewable sources, making it the Central American country with the highest share of renewables in the power mix. Belize ranked second, with renewable sources accounting for some 93 percent of the electricity produced in the country.
