Crude oil & petroleum product imports from Russia in the EU monthly 2021-2023

The European Union (EU) imported approximately 1.75 million metric tons of oil and petroleum products from Russia in December 2023, having significantly decreased the import volume of that commodity group over the past year. The import volume in October 2023 was the lowest over the observed period from the beginning of 2021. The highest figure was recorded at more than 11.4 million metric tons in January 2022.
