U.S. number of people living below the poverty line 2022, by education

In 2022, about 37.92 million Americans were living below the national poverty line in the United States. Of those Americans, around 4.31 million had a four year degree or higher. This means they have an income below 100 percent of the national poverty level as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau.
