U.S. per capita homeland security grants in by state 2020

The Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) includes three sub-grant programs: State Homeland Security Program (SHSP), Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), and Operation Stonegarden (OPSG). The source did not provide information on the state allocations for the 90 million U.S. dollars allocated for Operation Stonegarden. Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Activities (LETPA) allocations are a 25 percent subset of the SHSP and UASI allocations.

Each state must apply to access funds allocated, with grants being awarded based an evaluation of the effectiveness of proposed investments and projects. Details of the funding range allocated for each state is available here.
