Restaurants and hotels: household expenditure in Czechia 2008-2022
The household consumption spending on hospitality services in Czechia increased each year up until 2019 when it amounted to over 243 billion Czech koruna. Following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the expenditure dropped significantly due to the related lockdowns and travel restrictions. However, in 2022, it rose back up to 234.5 billion koruna, nearly returning to the pre-pandemic level.
