As of November 2022, the highest ranked sumo wrestler in Japan, Terunofuji Haruo, had an official body weight of 181 kilograms. Terunofuji was the only sumo-wrestler (at the time of this writing) to possess the highest rank of yokozuna. Ranks change periodically depending on the wrestlers' tournament results.
