Share of clean electricity production in Africa 2023, by country
All of the electricity generated in the Democratic Republic of Congo were from clean sources as of 2022. As of the same year, the share of clean electricity in Ethiopia and Kenya reached 99.9 percent and 94 percent, respectively. In contrast, Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya reported some of the lowest percentages of clean electricity production on the continent.
