This statistic illustrates the share of cell phones owned in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017, by type of phone and age. The highest share of all age groups owned smartphones. On the other hand, 27 percent of respondents aged 60 years and older owned basic cell phones, while one percent of respondents aged 30 to 59 years had no cell phones.
