Back in 2009 a wedding in the U.S. cost over $19,000 on average. Over the next few years spending for the most important day in a couple’s life has increased significantly. By 2010 figures had reached almost $27,000. Based on statistics on average wedding costs in the United States in 2012, spending on the big day amounted to over $25,000.
