Which EU member state has the lowest level of unemployment?

Austria is the EU member state with the lowest level of unemployment, approximately 4.5%. The Netherlands follows closely with 5.3% and Luxembourg and Germany are jointly third, with unemployment rates of 5.5%. At the other end of the scale, Spain has the highest rate of unemployment, at 25.1%. Greece has 23.1%, coming second after Greece for having Europe’s highest level of unemployment.
