All dollar figures are adjusted to 2007 dollars using the “current methods” version of the consumer price index for all urban consumers published by U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Families include one-person units.
* Excludes money market mutual funds and indirectly held mutual funds and includes all other types of directly held pooled investment funds, such as traditional open-ended and closed-end mutual funds, real estate investment trusts, and hedge funds.
