Hours per day spent on leisure and sports in the U.S. by employment status 2022
When surveyed in 2022, respondents in the United States who were not employed answered that they spent an average of 6.9 hours a day on leisure and sports. This was a decrease of 0.03 hours from the previous year. Meanwhile, respondents who were employed spent marginally more time on sports and leisure a day in 2022 than in 2021, with the average time rising from 4.21 to 4.22 hours.
