This statistic shows the Gallup GOP ballot tracking for the primaries 2012. Shown is the 5-day rolling average from November 2, 2011 to March 31, 2012. Depicted are only candidates still active in the elections. Thus the given percentages don't add up to 100 percent. Mitt Romney is supported by 42 percent of the Republicans in the poll done from March 27 to 31 in 2012. Second is still Rick Santorum with 27 percent. Due to the recent withdrawal of Rick Santorum from the 2012 elections, this statistic will no longer be updated.
