Amount of money spent by Americans taking their pets to the vet in 2011

This statistic shows the results of a 2011 survey among American pet owners, who have taken their pet to the vet during the past year, on the amount of money they have spent there. 20 percent of respondents said they have spent approximately 501 U.S. dollars or more on veterinary bills in 2011.
