This statistic shows a timeline with the global number of mobile monthly active Facebook users since the first quarter of 2009. In December 2010, the number of mobile active users of Facebook was 245 million, while in March 2012, this number had almost doubled. Active users are those which have logged in to Facebook during the last 30 days. As of the fourth quarter of 2012, Facebook estimated that approximately 157 million mobile MAUs accessed the social network solely through through mobile apps or the mobile website.
