Supplementary notes

Out-of-home coffee consumption includes restaurants, coffee bars, coffee kiosks, vending machines and other places. It is further divided in coffee chains, which lay their focus on serving coffee, and other locations, which refer to any places different from coffee chains.
At-home consumption includes store-based retailing and coffee sold at non-store locations. Store-based retailing comprises supermarkets, discounters, hypermarkets, convenience stores, independent small grocers, forecourt retailers and other grocery retailers. Vending machines, home shopping, internet retailing and direct selling operations belong to non-store retailing.
