Supplementary notes

The taxes and social security burden on labor costs is calculated from income taxes less cash transfers (for example child benefits) plus social security contributions of employees and employers. Across-the-board depreciations of taxes for advertising costs and social security contributions are also considered. Positive or negative incomes from other types of income are not included in the calculation (capital, self-employment, rental and leasing, etc.). Also not included are tax deductions, which are tied to certain conditions (eg commuters) transfers, which are payed by those with low incomes (eg housing benefits).
