Euro to old currency conversions when shopping in eurozone 2019

This statistic illustrates the results of a survey, asking citizens of eurozone countries the extent to which they do, or do not, convert the price of different purchases in euro to the previous national currency, as of October 2019. It can be seen that 12 percent of respondents reported they usually convert currencies for exceptional/big purchases, and another 16 percent reported converting for everyday common purchases at that time.

These countries are collectively known as the euro area.
