This statistic shows the rates of economically inactive people between ages 18 and 24 as a share of the total workforce in London (UK) from 2012 to 2016. Economic inactivity was declining during that time, shrinking by more than 10 percent. While almost 40 percent of 18- to 24-year-old Londoners were economically inactive in 2012, the share then declined to 24.3 percent in the most recent survey period.
