This statistic shows the results of a survey concerning the share of teenagers who owned a laptop or desktop PC in Germany from 2007 to 2023. In 2023, around 73 percent of respondents stated that they owned a computer or laptop. This was unchanged from the previous year.

The surveys are developed in cooperation with SWR Medienforschung, the Zeitungs Marketing Gesellschaft (ZMG), the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, the Landeszentralen für politische Bildung Baden-Württemberg und Rheinland-Pfalz and the Stiftung Lesen.

The figures from 2007 to 2011 were taken from the respective previous publications.
