This report details drug-related deaths in the United Kingdom (UK) as reported voluntarily to the National Programme on Substance Abuse Deaths (NPSAD) by coroners. The report covers a wide range of substances - both illicit and prescription. Demographic factors are also considered and analysed, such as employment status, age and gender. Data is for the United Kingdom and is also split into sections for England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Islands (Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man).
