Opinion on the need for reduction of cattle population in the Netherlands 2019
As of 2019, just under half of the Dutch population appeared to agree that the cattle population in the Netherlands needed to be reduced. 47 percent of people surveyed in the Netherlands agreed or strongly agreed that the number of cattle kept in the Netherlands needed to be reduced, while the share of people who disagreed with this statement was just over 20 percent in the same year.
