Deaths due to dengue in Latin America & the Caribbean 2024, by country
As of April 2024, Brazil was the country that registered the highest number of deaths due to dengue among selected countries in Latin America and the Caribbean since the beginning of the year, with a total of 1,657 fatal cases. Argentina and Peru followed, with 228 and 130 deaths reported, respectively. That same year, Brazil had the highest number of dengue infections in Latin America.
