Quebecers in favor of greenhouse gas reduction measure 2020, by political preference
The new Quebec provincial budget was presented to the National Assembly on March 10, 2020. Several measures were announced in this budget, some of which were related to the fight against climate change. One of them is to reduce greenhouse gases by 37.5 percent by 2030 based on 1990 levels. This initiative was strongly supported by Quebecers surveyed in March 2020. The most supportive of this measure were supporters of the Parti Québécois (84 percent).
