Leading water ports in China by cargo throughput 2021
In 2021, Ningbo Zhoushan Port in China's Zhejiang Province ranked first among all Chinese water ports with a cargo throughput of nearly 1.22 billion metric tons. It was followed by Tangshan Port and Shanghai Port with 722 million and 698 million metric tons of cargo, respectively, in that year.
