This statistic represents the share of spending among online shoppers across India in 2015 and 2020, based on gender. In 2015, the share of online spending from women amounted to about 20 percent of total e-retail spending, while 80 percent of expenditures came from men during the survey period. The share from women is projected to increase to about 42 percent by 2020.
